First for Fieldworks’ partners are trained specialists in Market Research and the company has a registered data controller, courtesy of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). First for Fieldwork may update this policy from time to time and as such we suggest you check this page every now and again to ensure you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from April 2018.

First For Fieldwork take your privacy very seriously. Any information you are willing to share with us will be treated with the utmost respect. Your details will never be sold or traded with any 3rd parties and we will never try to sell you any products or services. To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

The information you provide when signing up to the research panel will only be used so that we can advise you of relevant market research projects that we think may be of interest to you. This information includes personal data and sensitive data i.e. Name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, ages of children and ethnicity. You are not obliged to give all of this information if you do not wish to do so. We will contact you via the email or phone number you provide when signing up to the research panel. The information provided is stored securely and can only be accessed by First For Fieldwork. You are not under any obligation to apply for the projects you receive and you are also free to unsubscribe from the First For Fieldwork research panel at any time. We may contact you to advise you of any important news or company updates that we feel you need to know or might be interested in.

When you apply for research projects the information you provide will be used to determine whether you fit the right criteria for that project – this will vary by project and may include sensitive data. The information provided is stored securely on the third party site used to collect the data.  This data is not accessed / used by the third party – it can only be accessed by First For Fieldwork.  Once a project is complete this data is deleted from the third party site. If you qualify for a project we will contact you to go through the rest of the details.  We will provide our client with your contact details and the relevant criteria for that particular project.  This information is transferred to the client securely.  We will store this data securely for 12 months from the date the project is completed.  It is then deleted securely from our systems. 

Should you require confirmation of the details we hold on you, please do send a written request to First For Fieldwork, 19 Chapel Hill Road, Pool in Wharfedale, Leeds LS21 1QY. A small fee will be payable to cover the time taken to pull these details together.

Please ensure the data we hold on you is up-to-date and inform us of any changes. We will contact you from time to time to request any changes to personal details.
